1 and 3/4ths

Meggles is growing up and turning two is just around the corner.

Jeff made it through his annual early morning frenzied preschool registration ordeal this week.  (Not really frenzied, I've never seen Jeff frenzied, I can't even imagine him frenzied.)  This year he signed two Goheans up for school.  I go back and forth between feeling like I won the lottery (two whole mornings a week ALL BY MYSELF!) and wondering if I'll be able to part with my baby Meg-a-legs in 6 months.

Meg is talking a little more: "Bye-bye Daddy" "Waz dat?" "Why?" "Tank ew"
Grunting and pointing and whining are still her preferred means of communication.

The girl is an eating machine.  Yesterday she ate an entire red bell pepper all by herself for breakfast!  Annie was (and still is) such a picky eater that I'm always in shock to see vegetables go voluntarily down the hatch.

Some favorite Meg moments:
Whenever I do my Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred video she'll come over and put her hand on my back or leg like Jillian is doing to the other girls in the video.  It makes me laugh so hard every time.

If Annie is upset she'll always try to rub or pat her back or give her kisses on the top of her head.

I carry her a lot, almost all day and if I'm busy or haven't been paying attention to her she'll just give me sweet little kisses on my shoulder, like "Hello Mom, I'm here!  Pay attention to me."

The Meginator has her rough days, but she takes it pretty easy on me for the most part.  She isn't making me suffer through 10-million-meltdowns-per-day-toddlerdom like somebody else we all know and love did.  (Name starts with an 'A' and ends with 'nnie', remember her?)
