Annie-isms

When Annie was a baby I was obsessed with her cute chubby cheeks. Now those are gone, but I love her little legs.  They are starting to get muscles from dance and bike riding, but they still have that little bit of baby chub left and somehow they're brown even though it's February.

One day she and Jeff were outside and she spotted a plane and told Jeff how cool she thought they were.
J: You know, you could be a pilot when you grow up and fly planes.  Wouldn't that be cool?
A: No, I'm going to be a mom when I grow up.
J: Well, you could be a mom and a pilot.
A: No, I'm just going to be a mom.

She has also been really big into "decorating" her room.  And she gets SUPER mad if I "mess up" (aka clean up) her decorations.

A few weeks ago she went to the grocery store with Jeff and saw a princess thermos that she fell in love with. Jeff told her it was too expensive.  A few days later she asked me if I'd give her a penny if she would clean her room.  "I need to save lots of pennies in my penny bank to get that princess thermos."

Her favorite thing to pretend is "birthday party".  She spends her rest time in her room everyday planning endless parties.  She does the decorations, she wraps the presents, she sets the table, decorates the cake, gets the food ready and makes sure all of the guests have their "party" outfits on.

Mermis sent her and Meg these little notepads with a pen attached for Valentine's day.  Annie calls hers her journal and she loves getting to use a pen like a big girl.  The pen has made her drawings much more detailed.  I really love this one.  She told me it was me with Meg in my tummy.

I love Annie's legs, too. She has just healthy looking little sweet legs. I love that they are already a little brown, too. She is doing really well on that bike, so don't know how much longer they will keep that sweet baby chubbiness.

hehe, that drawing is great. I am jealous that Annie has that pretty tan skin. Nobody wants to see my pasty whiteness (and it's there even in July) :(

What a super sweet post, loved it all!! She is really growing up and it seems like she was born yesterday! Oh wait, Meg was born yesterday!

If she was pining after one of those meta, decorated princess cups; they are worth every penny. Seriously. They keep drinks cold for the 12 hours that is advertised. We love them. Atticus will be getting one soon. Goodness knows, life is so unfair when you don't have exactly what your sister and brothers do.

She's so sweet and has so many possibilities--athlete, pilot, interior designer, event planner, artist, and MOM! Love how y'all encourage her creativity.
